THE QUEEN'S CROWN.
Following the precedent of all Coronations since the Kostoration, the Crown for the Queen was specially designed and made. Biamonds were Che only gems used, and in beauty of outline, the splendour of it's jewels, and the perfection' of its craftsmanship Queen Mary s new crown has never been surpassed. Lightness had to be aimed at. The new crown, including its'cap of violet velvet and its edging of heraldic ininiver, weighs under 19 ounces, this result having been attained by the use of an extremely fine, almost invisible, framework.
