POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL.

The monthly meeting of the Pohangina County Council was held on Saturday, when" there were present—Councillors Brown (chairman), Smith, Eglinton, Wagstaff, Port, and Burue. It was resolved that all rents received from the Cemetery Reserve at Pohangina be placed in the Post Office Savings Bank. The rohaugina Domain Board was granted permission to erect a fence on the roadside at Cowen's Hill, the Pohangina riding to contribute half the cost. The engineer was instructed to improve the dangerous points on Cowen's Hill, metal the- Beehive Hill, and also to improve the dangerous points on Stevens' The engineer's report, dealing principally with tho work carried out'during the month, was read and adopted.
