(Specially written for The Dominion.) SATURDAY. Macaroni Soup. Rabbit Pie, Potatoes. Turnips. Apple Charlotte. SUNDAY.,' Oyster Soup. I?oast Beef. Horse Radish Siiuce. Baked Potatoes. Cabbage, Dato Pudding. Baked Custard Pud-' ding. SUPPER. Cold Beef. Tongue Shape. Salad. Cold .. Cabinet Pudding. Prune Shape. APPLE CHARLOTTE. Half dozen apples, the rind of I lemon, } pint of water. -1 tablespoons of sugar, 2oz. butter, some thin slices of stale bread. Peel the apples, halve, quarter, and coro them. Make a syrup by boiling water and sugar together. Add to it (lib ap-. pies and lemon rind, and simmer until soft.. Grease, a pic-dish or cake-tin. .Melt the butler, dip the slices of broad into it, and; lino the dish. Pour in tho apples, and cover .with more slices of bread dipped in the butter, and bako in a moderate oven until-the bread is browned; turn on to a dish, spriuklo castor sugar and cinnamon over .it..' Servo hot or cold with boiled custard.
