Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd.. report on their Levin sale held yesterday as follows: —We yarded over 2COO ehecp, which met with a ready sale, and wo quitted all with the exception ol one pen of wethers, and one of ewes, at the following prices:— Fat ewes, 14s. to 14s. 6d.; fat wethers, 15s. lCd., 15s. 9d., 155. 3d.;' forward wethers, 155.; hoggets, 9s. 10d„ Bs. 6d.; small do., 65., 3s. Bd.; empty ewes, 9s. 71. ss. 3d., 45.; fourtooth aud f.f.m. ewes in lamb, 12s. 54., Bs. 2d., 7s. 11 j two and four-tooth ewes in lamb, 13s. 61 Cattle: Wenner steers, 21s. 6d.; weauor heifers, 405., 355. 6d.; unbroken draught gelding, £26.

Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at Eketahuna yesterday. They report:—We had a fair yarding or' both sheep and cattle, but sheep were dragging under the hammer, cattle selling at better prices than usual. We quote:—Ewes in lamb (poor sorts', ss. lOd. to 75.; fat forward empty, ewes, 9s. 3d. to 10s. 6d.; twcHooth wethers, 10s. 9d. to 12s. 3d.; two-tooth ewes, 10s.; mixed hoggets, 7s. Cattle: Springing heifers, £4 10s. to £5 155.; cows and calves. £3 10s.; 20raonths steers, £2 lCs.; wcaner steers. £2 3s. 6d.; weaner heifers, 255.;. bulls, £3 12s. 6d.

Messrs. Dalgcty (Danuevirkc) report as follows on their sales during the week:— On Wednesday, July 5, we had a very successful clearing sale in conjunction with Messrs. Abraham and Williams at Mr. T. J. Kerr's at Woodville. A total of .39 cows wero offered, and sold at a, very satisfactory average, the range in prices being from £4 10s. to £11. On the same day wc hold our usual Makotuku sale, but were not successful in disposing of anything. At Takapau on Thursday we were again unsuccessful in quitting any lines of stock. Sheep only came forward in small numbers, and bidding was very inanimate. On Friday,. July' 7, we hold our usual fortnightly Dannevirke sale, when we submitted a. big yarding of sheep and cattlo to a good attendance of buyers.. Bidding was lifeless for sheep,' although wethers met good competition. The following are the prices realised-.—Fat ewes, 95.; two and four-tooth wethers, 350, at 14s. Id.; 150 small two-tooth, lis. 2d.; breeding ewes, 3s. lid. to 75.; mixed two-tooths, 6s. 6d. Cattle: Fat cows, £3 lis. to £5 55.; forward stores, £3; dairy cows in calf. £5; mixed wcarjers, emall, : 6s.

Palnierston North sale yesterday wo had a, good yarding' of both sheep and cattle, and the former met with a keen demand, and sold at the following prices:— Small mixed hoggets. 4s. lid.: medium hog-gets,'to-Bs. 5d.; good mixed hoggets, to 9s. 9d.; small two-tooth wethers, lis. 6d.; forward wethers, to 13s. 81;-light fat ewes, 125.; prime fat wethers, 16s. 9d.; two and four-tooth Lincoln ewes,- 235. Cattle: Weavers, 28s; 6d.;' store cows. £2 7s. 6d. to £2 10s.; dairy heifers, to £6 55.; forward bullocks, £7.

The New Zealand Loan anil Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. (Feilding branch), report for the week ending July 7. as. follows:— At Apiti on Tuesday wo had a good yarding of bbth sheep and cattle, the latter being chiotly dairy heifers. Sheep showed a decided improvement all round, but dairy cattle sold well. We quote :-Ewe hoggets, Bs. sd. and 9s. 5d.; wether hoggets, 85. Ba.; mixed lambs (small),. 4s. led.; forward empty ewes, 10s. 5d.; four-year ewes in lamb (good), IDs. 6d.; fat wethers, lis. Id.; empty two-year heifers, £3, £3 10s.; springing three-year heifers, £5; springing cows, £6. Mr. Osborne's grade Jersey cows made £7 10s. for the line: 5-year harness gelding, £12 15s. At Feilding yesterday we had a good yarding of sheep and a, heavy yarding of cattle. Trices were well maintained all round, and we were successful in placing every pen of our sheep and the bulk of our ca.ttle at the following rates:— Ewe lambs, 125.; fat lambs. 12s. 3d.: mixed lambs, 65.; wethers (small), 10s. Bd.; fat ewes, lis. 7d.; empty owes (culls). 2s. 5d., ss. 9d.; ewes in lamb (culls), 35.; weaner steers, £2 7s. 6d.; springing heifers, £3 ss. to £5 2s. 6d.; cows in calf, £2 to.£s; empty cows,' £3 to £3 10s.; fat eclws, £6 15s.

Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., re-port:-At Levin yesterday we had a yarding of close on 3200 sheep, which met with rather a dragging sale. With the exception of two pens, however, the various lots changed hands at the under-mentioned quotations, A smaller yarding of cattle than usual came forward, consisting mostly of female stock. Good springing cows and dairy heifers Eold readily, but low-condi-tioned stores wore difficult to quit. Terry, when there was a fair attendance, and the cow.?, which were mostly young ar.d early calvcrs. sold readily. York's clearing sale, there was a good attendance of buyers, and the stock, which were in good condition, brought full market rates. On Tuesday, July 4, I held a most successful sale at fiahotii. on account of Mr. D. M. Stringer, when there was a, good attendance, aud both the live and dead stock sold well. On Wednesday. July 5, I held a clearing sale nt Tataraimaka, on account of Messre. Wilkinson and Son. when there was a good attendance.
