A country coachbuilder, giving evidence before the Labour Supply Commission, stated that last week ho refused ,£4OO worth of orders because he was unable to obtain skilled labour. Speaking in the State Assembly, Mr. Beeby, Labour Minister, said that owing to the shortage of school teachers he would endeavour to bring fifty teachers from England.
