Zealand, with a capital of .£IOO,OOO, has been registered under the Companios Act. THE CHAIRMAN INTERVIEWED. (Br Teleeraph.—Press Association.i New Plymouth, Juno 29. In connection with ■ the cable message from London with reference to the registration of tho Inglewood (New Zealand) Oilfields Company, the "Daily News" representative interviewed the chairman of directors of the Inglewoud Oil and Prospecting Company, Mr. Thomas Furlong, jnnr., who stated that tho syndicate with whom he had been in communication was represented in New Zealand by Mr. A. T. Bate, of Wellington, who had assured tho directors that it was a strong and ivealftiy syndicate. It will work properties and options over 7500 acres in the Inglewood district, and 12,000 acres in the Mokau district, and conclusively test their resources. If warranted by tho prospecting, a larger company will be formed, in which the present shareholders , will have one-third interest, besides a probable cash paymont. Meanwhile tho company will not transfer any of its options or interests unless the syndicate is prepared to expend a large amount of its capital in prospecting.
