Tho first session of tho nineteenth Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Wellington will begin on Tuesday, July 4, iD the Sydney Street Schoolroom, at 3 p.m., when (ho Hisliop of Wellington (I ho K'kltt Kev, T. 11, Sprott) will deliver his opening address. Tlipro will be evensong, with sermon by' l tho Veil. C. C. Harper, Archdeacon of l?.iiiEilikei and Vicar of St. Voter's, Weilington, in St. Paul's Pro-Catlimlrai, on (he fame day, at S p.m., at which thero will be a collection for defraying thu expenses of tho Synod, The clergy are requested to meet for (his service in Jho diocesan library a I 7.-I0 p.m., nnil to brinp with them surplice, hood, and collcot cjvn.
