Hodge repotted at six o'clock to-night, for the previous 24 hours as follows:—Shade temp., max. 51.8deg., rain. 36deg., mean 43.9dcg.; earth radiation. 32deg.; earth temperature, 46.5dcg.; wind, S.W. light; rain, 1 point; weather, fog last night, bright morning, quiet, dull evening, and not so cold. Grovtown, June 27.—Du11, with heavy fog in the morning, hut fine during the day; very cold; wind S.W. Wanganui. June 27—To-day was ushered in by the hardest, frost so far experienced this winter. A fine day followed, frost again oiicccdins in the evening. Hastings. June 27—To-day has been beautifully fine; warm at mid-day, hut cold towards night, with frost in view. Messrs.
