At the meeting of the Wellington Centre of the Amateur Athletic Association Inst evening a letter w-qs' received from tho Stadium Snorts Committee stating that a professional runner had inadvertently been allowed to compete in one of the meetings at tho Exhibition. The runner had been under the impression that any member , of a hockey or lacrosse club could enter, for the event in question. The secretary stated that permission had been granted to the Stadium Snorts Committee to hold meetings on condition that all entries should be made on thp oflicid form of the N.Z. Amateur Athletic Association. The Kjcretary was instructed to write a strong letter to tho Stadium Committee pointing mit the facts of the cast.
