WOMAN EXPIBES IN A TRAM-CAB. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, Juno 22. Mary Jane Grant, 47 years of age, died in. a tram-car at Ponsonby this evening. Deceased, who was the wife of Mr. Edward Grant', bootmaker, of Ponsonby, left home at G p.m. in company with a young lady for tho purpose of going into the city to seo the illuminations. They boarded a tram-car at the Three Lamps, and Mrs.- Grant collapsed in her seat just as tho car started. A doctor was called, but could only pronounce life extinct.
