llr. Edward Eagle, jun., of Belvedere, Carterton, whose Jer.-cys are so well known throughout the. length and breadth of the Dominion, has cabled to .Air. James Stuckey, late of Te Raiigituniau, Masterton, to select for him two Jersey yearling bulls at the dispersal sale of (he herd of Lady Smyth, Asliton Court, Bristol. Lady Smyth has been for many years one of the most successful breeders nnd exhibitors in England, more than one Royal- Show champion claiming her for owittr. The animals should arrive in about two months' time, and should do much to improve the various herds of tho Dominion.
