On Monday the Carterton branch of tho Wairarapa Egg Circle sent away 110 dozen eggs'to tho Wellington agout. On Corojation evening at the Belvedere School a beautiful tableau will be presented by school girls, the motif being "Tho Ovet'sei Dominions." Three patriotic songs will bo given during the tableau, and the whole will be prettily enhanced by coloured stage lights. The Wairarapa and East Coast I'. and A. Society has decided to hold a maiden leaping competition on the day of the ploughing match. Messrs. W. Cooper and G. 11. J'erry will be the judges. The annual ball in connection with the Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge of Oddfellows is to be held on Thursday, July 13. Mr. Jabez Bridges, organiser of the Masterton-Wairarapa No-License League, is preparing a report on the effects of No-License in Masterton. This is to be presented at the anniversary meeting there at the end of tho month. The Ifev. J. Dawson and the Rev. A. Dcwdney, of Wellington, will take part in the gathering. The North Island championships for Peking and Indian runner ducks are to bo competed for at the South Wairarapa. Poultry Association's annual slioiv -here ljest month, , .
