ANNUAL DAIRY CONFERENCE.
TIIB PROGRAMME. The prolamine for the anm.il Dair f Goiiforcnce at the "Winter Show at I almcrston North, has been issued. On the opening day of the show (Tuesday, .Tune 20) tlio anhunl meeting of the Mationnl Dairy Association will be held, opening at 10.30 o'clock in the morning. On Tuesday evening there will be tho annual meeting of the -\'ew Zealand Dairy Factory Jlr.nnseri, , Association. Wednesday will be devoted to addresses. At 10.:lfl a.m. llr. J. Hurt Veal?, of Woodville, is to deliver an address on "The working of a dairy farm." At 11.43 Mr. T. V.'. Kirk, Government Biologist, will deliver an address on "Diseases end Prstp in Farmers' Orchard; and Gardens." llr. Kirk's address will bo illustrated by lantern slides. In tho afternoon, at 2.30,' Mr. J. 0. Harkness, the secretary of the National Dairy Association, will speak at length on matters concerning tni! dairy industry, particularly nn the things which came under his notice diinng Iris recent visit to England. Thursday, too, will t? taken un with addresses. "The- Suitability of the Ayrshirs for Dairy Purposes," by Mr. J. Kyle, illustrated by cows from Mr. Kyle's herd, is timed for 10.30 a.m. -At 11.SO tb« Dairy Commissioner (Air. D. C'uddie) will address the conference, and at 2.30 in the afternoon Uγ. T. E. Hcdder will spenfc on tho subject of winter feed. The Minister for Agriculture (Hon. T. Mackenzie) may be nres?nt at some time during (he conference, and deliver an address.
