The Reciprocity Bill has been reported to tho Sounte by tho Finance Committee. The committee's report is non-commit-tal, and Senator Root's amendment to tho paper schedule has been added to the Bill. • Several Senators have filed minority reports, some of which are favourable and some unfavourable. Senator Goro introdnced an amendment for placing on the free list' Canadian .flour, meat, and agricultural implements. IHe stated that he would not press the aaiondmont if the Bill would thereby bo jeopardised. Senator Moyburn stated that the committee- would be tied whether its report was adverse or otherwise. j Figures showing Canadian import's of United Stales goods supplied to tho Senate Finance Commit'cro by Mr. Knox, Secretary of Stale, disclosed the fact that the Canadian remission of duties under the agreement would be nearly three and a quarter million dollars. Canadian imports into tha United States did not increase last year. • ,
