TROTTER AND MOTOR-CAR,

1 IMPUDENT THEFTS. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) Chrlstchurch, June 14. An impudent theft was committed last night in Sydenham, the victim being Dr. W. F. Browne. At 11 o'clock last night Dr. Browne placed his motor-car in his garage, which is situated close to his house, and on going there at 7.30 this morning he found that the car ivas missing. The car is a two-seated Clement Bp.yard. A strange report in connection with the theft of the car and the trotter Prince Warbeck gained currency in town to-day. 11 is alleged that the person who is supposed to havo stolen the horse from Yaldhurst on Monday evening rode it into town, and last night neglected his stolen steed for a better means of travel, and is alleged to have taken Dr. Browne's car from Sydenham. It is stated that tho trotter will be restored to its owner today, as its whereabouts became known to tho police this afternoon. Later. Dr. Browne's motor-car has been found at BanlvM'de, near Rakaia, and the trotter, Prince Warbeck, has been found in Sydenham.
