FEILDING ITEMS.
The latest addition to the Friendly Societies in the district is a Court of Foresters at Rangitaua, which has been opened with the usual form and ceremony by the D.C.E., Bro. W. L. Smith. The Court's first Chief Ranger is Bro. MTCay, and the secretary, Bro. R. Sigley. There are 22 members. : A football team from tho Campbell Street School (Palmerston) defeated Lytton Street School (FeiMing) by 8 points to 3. Mr. Fred. .Pirani, chairman of the Wanganui Education Board, was referee.
