Tlio Wnngnmti Agricultural Association, after receiving replies from many exhibitors, lias decided not-to alter its show dales to the week following the Palmerston show. The fixture will, therefore, take place on November 15 and IG. Sale of leases in the Avenue belonging to the Church of England, and forming part, of tho churchyard, were hold yesterday, and elicited keen competition. Sections totalling feet of frontage wero quitted at a total annual rental of Xsi2 10s. The Coronation Celebrations Committee met last evening, the business being mainly the arranging of the school.children's display and Iho decoration of tho routo of the procession. The services are to be licld in the Catholic, and Anglican Churches, while the Ministers' Association have also arranged for a combined openair service. The Wanganui Boxing Association has decided to hold its district championship tournament on or about July 13. The winners will represent Wanganui in the New Zealand chamnioiiships at Inv-er-cargill at the end of the same month.
