(By Telegraph.-Special Corrospondent.) Carterton, .Tune S. . The quarterly meeting of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee was held today, when renewals were granted. An exception was the Gladstone Hotel, thcpolice report on which was not considered favourable. As negotiations for a transfer were in progress, the application for renewal was held over for three weeks to enable the parties to como to an arrangement. The W.C.F. Association's application for a wholesale license for the Groytown branch was opposed by the police, but it was granted a renewal.
