Dunedin, Juno C Bobert Stewart Eeid, aged 22, employed at the Halfway Biisli transformer station, met his death this morning at tho works. Ho was found dead by his wife, having apparently accidentally come into contact with' a live wire. SHOCKING EVENT. Gore, June 4. Joseph John Jenkins, 31 years of age, while riding on ono of several trucks drawn by a traotion engine, in the main street, oil Saturday night, fell under the first truck and was crushed to death. He was a butcher by trade, but had lately been engaged as a labourer.
