REORGANISATION 'SCHEME. By Tclesranh—Press Associatlon-Oonyrieht London, June 2. The King has ratified the reorganisation of the Board of Trinity College, Dublin. The governing body is to include two junior fellows, and two professors elected by the juniors and the professors respectively.
MOTION BY SIR J. WARD. Sir Joseph Ward said that in view of the discussion and Sir Edward Grey's clear statement, lie thought tho wiser course would be to adopt the Declaration. He moved:— "That this Conference, after full . consideration of the debate, approves of the ratification of the Declaration." Mr. Fisher's resolution, he said, bad placed the Australian delegates in a somewhat difficult position. Mr. Asquith, while fully recognising the position the Australian Government had taken up, said an admirable spirit liad been shown in tho desire to secure unanimity. He said tho Imperial Government would attach considerable importance to the passing of the resolution. The Declaration was a tremendous step in advance. It was a code of international law which, while not perfect, was an enormous improvement. Tho International Court might be trusted to act impartially in getting the great world Powers into agreement.
