» "THK WJII1V" The highly popular melodrama "The Whip," wln'ch has been having a phenomenally rim at the Opera House was repealed hist night to a lull house. The last performance will bo to-night. "HENRY OF NAVARRE." The second production of Mr. J. C. Williamson's new dramatic company will be presented to-morrow night when the. romantic drama "Henry of Navarre" will form the attraction, for three nights. It deals with tho interesting Huguenot period, and will give an illustration of those remarkable times. This company have already made themselves extremely popular with all Wellington playgoers, so the production under notice should be watched with great interest, as it introduces them in an entirely new atmosphere. lhe cast io a very lengthy one. The initial presentation of this play in Auckland was a most-pronounced success, and judging by the heavy booking, there, is every reason to believe that its reception here will be equally successful. The costuming is a great feature of the production. On Monday night next the sensational success of Australia will be seen for the first tinie in Wellington, in . 'Via Wireless." and this is said to rival the famous effects of "The AYhip.
