A meeting of the branch committee of tho Civil Service Association was held this week. A sub-committee was appointed to meet representatives from the Government Printing Officers' Association with a view to affiliation. Satisfactory reports vjere made .is to the number of new members enrolling. Civil Servants are joining the association in largo numbers. Possibly the fact that the classification schedules are expected to bo gazetted shortly has something to do with the awakened interest. It is anticipated that tho association will have their hands full when the classification actually appears.
