WRITS FOE ALLEGED LIBEL. On behalf of Mr. H. Lan Siinson, writs were served on Thursday on Mr. G'eorgo Nelson and the managing director of the Hawkes Bay Tribune" claiming .£3OOO and =62000 damages respectively for an alleged libel published in a letter over Mr. Aclson's uignatnrci in last Saturday week's issue. The action will come before tho June sessions of. the Supreme Court in Napier.
