TO-DAY'S DINNER.

(Specially written for The Domsios.) TUESDAY. Boiled neck of mutton. Mashed potatoes. Carrots. Turnips. Lemon. Meringue. LEMON MEIMXGCE. One cup of sugar, 2 lemons, 2 eggs, 2 heaped tablespoonfuls of cornflour, 1 pint water, 1 pinch salt, loz. butter. Grate the peel and squeeze the juice of lemons, mix the cornflour with a little water, and- stir into the boiling water. Mix in the sugar, lemonpeel, and juice, and yolks of eggs. Stir all in the saucepan till thick; add the butter. Pour into a buttered piedish. Boat the whites to stiff froth, with 2 tablespoons of castor sugar; place on top, and bake till a light brown. Servo at once. FOR TO-MORROW. Two pounds mutton chops. Potatoes. Marrow.
