Macdouald will come before the Supremo Court again at 10 a.m. to-day for the announcement of Lhe decision of the Chief Justice and Mr. Justice Chapman on the question ivheiher the operation of (he writ of attcehment issued against tho Hon. T. k. Macdouald, M.L.C., ten be suspended ivithout allowing it to lapse, altogether. The ease is also (o come tip again en l'r;day afternoon'for medical evidence as to tho health of the defendant', and the question to be decided this morning is practically whether the delondant is to be kept in custody until that time. In adjourning the matter hist Saturday, tho Court stated that the defendant nmM: remain in thb cuslodj ol the sheriff until this morning. V.'lien riueslioncd yesterday, Hie sheriff (Mr. 13. G. A. Cooper) declined to say what steps he was taking in pursuance of that instruction. It was ascertained elsewhere ihat the sheriff had detailed a subordinate official to closely watch the defendant.
