MILITARY APPOINTMENTS.
■ It is notified in tho Gazette that, the rank of honorary lieutenant-colonel in the Territorial Force of the Dominion has been conferred upon Captain Hugh Boscawen (retired list H.M. Navy). The following appointments of Imperial officers io the' Territorial Force are also gazetted:—Majnr-General Arthur Pole Tcnton, C.8., C.V.O. (Royal Artillery), to be honorary colonel, 13th (North Canterbury) Regiment; Honorary Major-General Janies Melville Babington, C.8.. C.M.G. (Colonel 10th Lancers), to be honorary colonel sth Mounted Rifles (Otago Hussars). Territorial Force officers have been appointed second lieutenants as under-.— Charles Robert Sprogg nth (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Hides. Ttobert Stirrat M'Quarrie ("D" Battery, New Zealand Field Artillery). Grevillo Lancelot Ewcn, Robert Cameron Galbraitli, and Erima Harvey Xorthcroft, "K" Battery New Zealand Field Artillery. Matthew Henry Oram. No. 3 Company Garrison Artillery. ~„,„. Frank Kinsdon Turnbull. 7th Regiment (Wellington West. Coast Rifles).
