MILITARY TRAINING.
LAST WEEK'S REGISTRATION. The total registrations for military training in the Wellington Military District last week were 1520, the numbers from the various military districts being as iollow:—Manawatu: 214 cadets, 143 territorials. Taranaki: 212 cadets, (SO territorials. Wellington: 184 cadets, 183 territorials. East Coast (Napier): 318 cadetsj 200 territorials. Total, 1520. The total to date for the Wellington area group is 2271, and the approximate number expected to be registered by June 2 is 5000, so that the remaining 2720 will require to see to their obligations within the next three weeks, failing which—prosecution! '.
