He will spend to-day at Christchurch, and go 011 to Dunedin to-morrow. He will bo absent from Wellington about eight days. Mr. W. 11. Boivden, postmaster at ICaiivarra, who has been connected witJi postal work for the last twenty-three years, has tendered his resignation' to the Postal Department, owing to personal reasons. The Governor, who is at present on a short visit to .Marlborough, will attend the races at Blenliei.il on Wednesday, and al.-o spend a few days shooting—Press •Association.
