THE PAHIATUA CAMPAIGN. (By Telegraph— Pross Association.! Pahiatua, April 29: A meeting of supporters of tho Party was held at Pahiatua to-day, to discuss tlm campaign for the Pahiafun f«at. It was resolved to ask Mr. E. 1?. Martin, tlio Opposition organiser, to visit jhe electorate, and spend a wfekin organising. , It was reported that, on account ef tho pressure of business, Mr. J. C. Cooper, who contorted the seat at lasE election in the interest!! of ihp Reform Party, would be tumble to stand, but, in view of the fact that no official invitation had vel been extended to Mr. Cooper to contest Ihe scat, it was resolved (hat a sub-com-niiltje should wait on him, and ask him to reconsider his decision.
