THE IRISH ENVOYS.

TO ARRIVE ON MONDAY; The arrangements' made for the reception of the Irish envoys, Messrs. W. A. Redmond, Richard Hazelton, and J. L. Donovan, have been upset by the fact that the Rotorua, from London, which was to have arrived here to-mor-row (via Hobart), cannot possibly reach port beforo Monday morning. The committee which has the arrangements for the tour will meet tho delegates on the arrival of the Rotorua, and will escort them to the Grand Hotel. On Tuesday they will bo the guests of Dr. Cahill, at the Wellington Club, and on Wednesday night they will speak at the Town Hall on the political situation in Ireland. The delegation sailed from London on Marcli 6. Mr. W. A. Redmond is the son of Mr. John E. Redmond, tho Irish Nationalist leader. Mr. Richard Hazelion is a young and promising member of the Irish party, and is tho son of Lhu late Thoinns Hazelton, who was senior partner in a large Dublin business enterprise, now known as the Henry Street Warehouse. He was educated at Black-rock College, and later took up journalism and politics, and was elector! to tho House of Commons in 1906 for North Galway. During IDO6-7 Mr. Hnzelton, who is said to bo a forcible speaker, toured the United States on • behalf of tho Home Rule cause. Mr. J. T. Donovan has already been in Australia, having accompanied Mr. Joseph Devlin, M.P., who some years ago toured the country to appeal for funds to assist the Homo Rule movement.
