It is reported that tlio Xeiv South Wales Department , of Agriculture lias conic to the conclusion that: the issue of a monthly, journal is not. si succe-sful means of disseminating agricultural information, and has decided to employ an ixlilor whoso function will tie to supply to tho press Departmental information which may bo published. The Sydney mail says: "If U .satisfactory to learn that tho- Department of Agriculture have adopted a suggestion made in these columns some time ago, with the object of bringing tho good work of tho experiment farms under the notice, of the producers. - The old style of confining tlio records to the 'Agricultural Gazette' has proved its ■ uscleesness, and the Department now is going to keep in touch with tho newspapers throughout the State, and engage an editor to collect information of valuo from tho various forms and other sources, and send it to the press for publication."
