OLD-TIME CEREMONIES,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, April 10. Maoris from all parts of the North Island aro arriving for the unveiling of the Hono llcite monument at Kaikqhe, tho ' total number there now exceeding 2000. fieligious exercises arc features of tho gathering. The lion. J. Carroll arrived thero to-dav, and had a great reception, some 400 women decorated with evergreens, and a similar number of men stripped to the waist chanting a welcome. A number of old-time ceremonies were observed.
