OBITUARY.

MR. MOBERLY BELL. By Association-Copyright London, April 5. Mr. Moberly Bell, managing director of "The Times," is dead. His death, which was sudden, took placo while ho was at the offices of "The Times." The late Mr. Charles Frederic Moberly Bell was appointed managing director of "The Times" in 1908, when Lord Northcliffe, of the "Daily Mail," acquired control of tho property. Under tlio Walter family, Mr. Bell had served for eighteen years as assistant manager. He was born in Egypt 6i years ago, and at the early age oi 18 was appointed Egyptian correspondent of "The Times, a position which ho held until called to assist in the .management in London.
