ENROLLING THE YOUTHS.
A BUSY DAY. .Yesterday, at the Garrison Hall was 4 busy day for Lieutenant Rassam, the city area officer under the new defence scheme, and his area sergeants-major. la reply to a question last, evening, ■as to whether matters' had "brisked up" since the first day's work, a Dominion representative was informed that it was "500 per cent, better." All day long, and in the evening, the registration forma came flowing in. Some were rather hastily tilled up, with the result that one man's form recorded the fact that he was born on March 31, 1011! A number of those, who sent in forms forgot to sign them, while others, with an exaggerated idea of the resources of the Post and Telograph Department, gave their postal addrosses as "Wellington." In connection with the registration, which is now proceeding, it is requested that the forms, when filled in, should bo sent direct to the area headquarters, which in Wellington is under Lieutenant Kassam, Garrison Hall, Buckle Street.
