BOYS' INSTITUTE CAMPAIGN. In returning thanks for his election a 9 president of the Boys' Institute at the annual meeting last evening, Sir. G. A. Troup referred to what he termed "tho happy position" of the institute in connection with the results of the recent campaign for funds. They had set themselves to raise cCSOOO, being allowed a year to achieve that result.. They now had in subscriptions .£5003 in sight. (Applause.) The most satisfactory feature oJ the campaign, however, was the fact that of the total amount of subscriptions collected no less than .<MG7S' 7s. Gd., up to the time of tho issue of the circular convening the annual meeting, had been paid up. Since the issuo of tho circular another 4XO had been paid up, bringing tho total- amount in- actual cash in hand up to, roughly, .C 4730. (Applause.)
