A PARLIAMENTARY TRIP.
&_ ROUTE OF THE EAST COAST RAIL- ' AY AY. (By Telcgraph.-Prcss Association.) Auckland, March 29. -The Auckland Railways League, which has decided to conduct a party of Parliamentarians over the route of the East Coast railway, has definitely arranged for the party to leave Auckland on Easter Monday, April 17, proceeding direct to AVaihi and journeying from there in daily stages to Tauranga, Matata, Taneatua, Opotiki, 'and Rotorua. Kotorua will be reached on Saturday, April 21, and the party will return to Auckland by train on the following Monday. In addition to eight Auckland members, the following southern Al.P.'s will probably make tho trip:—Messrs. J. H. Okey, Edward Newman, Geo. Laurenson, Sir AVm. Steward, and possibly Air. Jas. Allen.
