MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.' A meeting of the committee of the. Wellington Cricket Association was held last night, Mr. M. F. Luckie presided, and there were also present Messrs. J. Pearce, W. Parton, V. 13. Willis, and C. Stevens (hon. secretary). There was very little business to transact. It was decided to accept New Year dates "for a match with Canterbury at the Basin Reserve next season. . The secretary was instructed to write to the Auckland Association inviting them to visit Wellington for the Christinas dates of next season. SHIELD PRESENTED TO BOYS' LEAGUE. The Governor has notified the president ot the Wellington Boys' Cricket League of his intention to present to the league a perpetual challenge cup for competition. The Boys' Institute senior team have tho honour of being the first holders, having won the championship without' a loss, the St. Vincent's team being runners-up. In the junior grade the Y.M.C.A. A team gained ilrst place, with the Institute junior team as runners-up.
