-—, e ■' . THE BROOKLYN CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Brooklyn Club held an informal run from Thorndon Baths, fifteen members being present. S. Murray was told off , as pacemaker and at tho same time to pick.a course. The pack was under the control of tho club captain (P. Wilson). The course led from the baths up towards Queen's Park into Wndestown and then into Wilton's Bush, then along tho ridge to Crofton, and then down the old road to Kaiwarra and so back to the baths. A run in was held over a short distance, tho result being as follows:—F. Byrne, •1; J. Don, 2; S. Murray, 3. Members are reminded that tho official opening will take place at Seatoun next Saturday. A special car to leave Courtenay Placo naa been arranged for.
