WELLINGTON HARRIERS.
The eighth annual meeting of the .Wellington Harriers was held on Monday evening at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms. The president (Mr. W. H. Bennett) presided over a muster of about 30 members. The following officers were elected for. the ensuing season:—President, Mr. W. H. Bennett; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. B. Whyte, C. W. Palmer, H. A. Lamb, J. H. Pollock, M. Burnett, and F. Ross; captain, Mr. W.' Press; vice-captain, Mr. W. B. Bennett; committee, Messrs. J. Finn, C. Eovberj', and F. Rollo; treasurer, Mr. W. Power; secretary, Mr. C. Lamberg,delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. C. Lamberg; handicappers, Messrs. W.'Wntt and F. Wilton; hon. auditor, Mr. H. A. Lamb. • - ' During the evening several new members were'elected. "It was decided to hold the opening run of the season on April 1 from tho Basin Reserve, if arrangement could be made with , Victoria College who aro holding an open meeting on that date.
