THE RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT
4 RAILWAY MAGNATE CONDEMNS IT. By Tolejrraph—Press Association—Cbnyrieht ~ (E«c. March 21, 11.25 p.m.) London, March 21. Sir William Van Home, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway, is visiting London. He emphatically condemns the Canadian-American reciprocity agreement, and declares that four-fifths of the population of the Dominion are opposed to it. Nevertheless, it will be passed into law, because the party machine will push it through. He is unable to understand the action of the British Minister at AVashington in aiding and abetting the agreement.
