CLONCURRY HIGHWAYMEN.

THE POLICE IN PURSUIT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht Brisbane, March 21. The Cloncurry highwaymen are still busy. The two men took to the road last week after stealing some horses from the Cuthbert copper mine, where they were employed, and waylaid a number of people. Several more persons have since been held up, including a mailman and a Chinaman. The latter was afterwards tied to a tree. The highwaymen in each case took only firearms and ammunition, stating that the police were after them, and they must have ammunition. The police are pursuing them.
