Mr. _ Diddams, manager of Adolpli lCohn's jewellery shop, the Scone of the burglary, has completed an examination of the stock sheets and discovered that goods to the value of .£1250 were stolen. Ho considers from the excellent selection made ,of the goods that the cracksmen who perpetrated the crime possessed more than the average knowledge of tho value of jewellery, and expresses the opinion that the visitors must have been in the shop collecting the goods upwards of an hour. Altogether they must have' been on the premises several hours from the time they first entered tho workshop to the time they left in possession of the valuable haul. The detective force are engaged on the case, but no arrests had bsen made late this evening.
