Odlin Timber and Hardware Company, Limited, Wellington, for the supply of earthplates, at ,£B2 4s. per ton. Unsuccessful tenderers were: Caslendyk and Fccke, ,£79 18s. 9d. ner ton; John Duthie and Co.,'Ltd.,«£BlHs.6d. per ton; A. S. Patcrson and Co.;' Stevens and Co., 4s. 9d. each (British) and 4s. 7kl'. each (forei"n); Onyon, Scater, .and Co., 9 7-Bd. per lb.; H. S. King, XI 12s. per cwt.; A. D: Hilcv and Co.,' Limited, ,£253 ss. per 1000; the 'indiarubber, Guttapercha, and Telegraph Works Convnany, Limited, Christchurch, ,6275 per 1000, and .£346 10s. per lOOCwitli wire attachment). The tenders of Castendyk and Focke. J.
