Councillor Sullivan, chairman of the City Council's Water Committee, states that unless rain intervenes it will probably bo necessary next week to cut off what are known as extraordinary supplies, such as those to lifts and stables, after twelve hours' notice has been served. Councillor Sullivan estimates that this morning tho various reservoirs contained about forty-six million gallons, or nearly throo million gallons less than they held three days ago.
