CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS' TOUR- ,' NET. . . ; On Monday r.ext Wellington is to hold ' its first champion of chamnions' tourney ' on the Wellington Club's green, commencing at 11 a.m. .Though long established in the south. Wellington has so far < retrained irom having a singles chain- " pionship tourney, but this year .the Wcl- '. lingtou Centre, which has been managing ' things very well this season, . arranged : for the winners of the senior singles in •' each club to meet and decide the singles championship for the centres. The contestants are as follow :—

Wellington, H. W. Frost; Newtown; ' G. Prince; Victoria, T. Mayor; Kclburne, Eoutley; Karori, Magnus; Petonc, Wcarne,; Hutf, Hdllard; Johnsonville, ' D. Slcanc; Khaudallah, Dumbell; Hataitai, Mitchell; To lliwi, Parata. Tho drawings are as follow:—First • round (to commence at ,11 a.m.); Mitchell ' v. Sloane, Hollard : v. Magnus, Dumbell v. .. Wcarne, Prince v. Frost.' Byes: lulgour, ;' Parata, Routley, Mayer. ' Second round (to commence at 1.30 p.m.): Mitchell or Sloane v. Routley, Hoi- v lard or Magnus v. Parata, Dumbell or ' Wearno v. Mayer, Prince or Frost v. Ivilgour.

The third round will commence at about 3 p.m., and the final at 4.30 p.m. Mr. F. W. Haybittle, Wellington, delegato to tho centre, has very kindly offered,to.entertain tho champions at luucheon. in the Wellington Club's pavilion at 1 p.m. on Monday.

THE HILL PINS. ' On the Tc Hiwi green on Wednesday afternoon, a match for the Hill.Pins was played, with the following result-.— Holders, To Hiwi—Letham, Georgetti, Hill, • Parata (skip), 24. Challengers, Lower Hntt—Trevetkick, Jones, Hollard, Hendry (skip), 11. . Mr.'C. Hill, president,-also entertained three rinks' from the Wellington- Club and one from the Hutt Club. -' An enjoyable afternoon was' spent,' the games played resulting-:—Muiiv- f -Salok; Waddell,. J. Hill, tho Misses Hill and other ladies, and,the health of.Mr. C, Hill was drunk with enthusiasm.

KELBURNE CLUB. - President's Bowls—Williamson (21) beat Routley (1G); A. Johnston (24) beat Waddell (14). This contest is now in its final' stages. Williamson meets Johnston and the winner plays Miller in the final. In tho Junior Bowls, Hutchinson (22) teat Page (11).
