ATTITUDE OF GERMANY. Berlin, March C. Germany's reply to the notification by M. Jules Ciimbon, French Ambassador to Germany, of M. Cruppi's appointment as French Minister for Foreign Affairs, was courteous—even friendly.
VOTE OF CONFIDENCE CARRIED. (Rec. March 7, 10.50 p.m.) Paris, March 7. The Chamber of Deputies, by 309 votes :o 111, has carried a motion expressing its confidence in the new Government.
