"HOUSE" PICNIC.
A very successful house picnic of the employees of the combined establishments of Messrs.. Alcock and Co., Ltd., took place on Saturday at Kilminstcr grounds, Belmont. During the day a good snorts programme was gone through, tho results of which are as follow:— Journeymen's Handicap.—Fisher, 1; Barnes, 2. Married Ladies' Race — Mrs. Steedman, 1. Wheelbarrow Race—Messrs. Aers and Barnes, 1. Tug-of-War.—Willis Street beat York Street. Hobble Skirt Race.—Mrs. Fellows, 1. Hop, Step, and Jump— Gribble, 1; Barnes, 2. Cigarette and Tie Race.—Mrs. Dombnldn and Mr. Greene. Egg and snoon Race.—Mrs. Fairweather, 1. Committeemen's Race.—Foote, 1; Murray, 2. Consolation Race.—Murray, 1. Guessing Compet-'tion.—Mr. Cade, 1. Youthss Race.—Hoarp, 1; I'astorclli, 2.
