A BAD CASE OF ST. VITUS' DANCE.
Doctors--Said- one of the Worst They had Seen. ' —_ Cured by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills—The Mother's Story. ■' A distressing'case of St. A r itus' dance —one of the worst they had ever seen, said the hospital doctors where the little sufferer was an inmate, has been cured-by-Dr. AYilliams' Pink Pills. These pills are recommended in complaints caused by weak or watery blood or rundown nerves, and the'y have in a great, many instauces received very high endorsation from the medical profession. The cure of this case of St. Vitus's Danco is.a striking example of their tonic action to cure even the most serious nervous disorders. Thfe patient in this case was Charlie, the eleven-year-old son of Jlr. and Jlrs. Charles Stanshall, of 72 .Raglan Street. Waterloo, Sydney. Giving an account of tlio euro to a reporter, Mrs. Stanshall said.:-r.- ... "Charlie was rather delicate as a child, and at last we noticed St. Vitus' Dance had attacked him. His hands began to. twitch aiid then his 'face and gradually it spread to every muscle in his body, For more than six months ho was this way. I. bad him under a homeopathic doctor for four months, but couldn't find a cure. >Ho got quite helpless and had to leave school. Ho would reel and stagger in Walking: like a drunken man. Ho had to., be fed and dressed, and waited on like soma infant in arms. It was painful to sec him. His eyebrows and lips and mouth would twist and contort. At night he would struggle and could hardly be held down, ilis eyes would look staring, and after these delirious turns he would bo quite exhausted and the perspiration would pour off him. His shoulders and arms would jerk about and his legs twist and turn. AYe kept him'in bed when we could. Ho would fall down when he got out, and for months he could not walk outside of the house.. He was as weak as a kitten, and so nervous wo. could, .hardly speak to him. Some nights he had to be strapped down and given chloroform. lie would tear his clothes to ribbons if he tried to put them on. lie. could not sit still if ho .were paid for it. Ho could not. speak plainly or clearly. He wasted till his limbs were like sticks. He looked as if he hadn't n drop of blood in his veins. Ilis father used to rub him from head to foot, and use liniments to brace his muscles and improve the. circulation, but he showed no improvement. I did not think he would pull through. At the hospital, where he was for a while, they said it was the Worst case they had ever seen. lb. got worse instead of better, and we were at our wit's end. It was a fortunate day when we tried Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. By the time he was on the second box the improvement was marked, and the third box cured him. The twitching grew less every day. lie began, to eat and lo fill out, and to sleep more restfully. Not a sign remains, he can go back to school and is as robust and lively as any boy—thanks entirely lo Dr. Williams' i'ink Pills."
