Tho strikers regret that the effort of Mr. Wisher (Federal Prime Minister) to bring the parties together proved unsuccessful, but decided that in tho event of the State- Premier (Mr. Murray) offering to mediate his services will bo declined. The Premier will be asked to nationalise tho industry.

Mr. Fisher has contributed ,£lO to the men's funds.
