A call has been presented by tho members of. Egremont English Presbyterian Church, Chesliiro, to the Rev. J)r. P. .Carnegie Simpson, of llcnficld United Free Church, Glasgow.' At tho closo "of tho forciioori service in Kenfield Church'oiV January 1, Dr. Simpson made reference. to the call, and intimated to his congregation that, trying to judge the question ultimately by tho dominant consideration of how and where one might do-tho better and wider service for tho Evangel in tho next chapter of .one's life, lie had come to tho conclusion that, if and when the Presbyterv places tho call in his hands, ho should' not turn nway from it, but should accept it.
